 Concrete walls are used throughout the building. Concrete is a way to feature wabi-sabi, as it is raw and undefined. When being used for a long time, concrete’s colour will start to turn darker and even crack. The house only has the basic necessity furniture showing the simplicity of the house and nothing can be removed to further improve the house. They have set up a garden room which you feel as if you are in a real outdoor garden, despite being indoors, making the room feel much open. Hence, the designer is influenced by Wabi-Sabi to keep everything simple.
